Hello. I’m Matt Pizzolo. I write, direct, produce, package, acquire, market, and distribute movies, documentaries, webisodes, lifestyle videos, comic books, illustrated films, and other stuff. I’ve been saying for years that Hollywood’s business model is fucked, and since my handpuppet Crystal is sick of hearing me vent I decided to start a blog where I could spit bile into the ether.

Video Cinematic is the cross roads of technology, imagination, and enterprise in the business of TV and movies. Topics include in-the-trenches tech solutions, highlights of everyday creative innovations, and candid analysis of the entertainment business from a Producer’s perspective.
Brian Giberson is an Emmy award winning freelance Producer/Editor working in Los Angeles, and the Head of Production for Halo-8 Entertainment, a production company specializing in iconoclastic cult movies and unique lifestyle entertainment suited for taste maker niches within music, horror, sci-fi, and fandom.

The feeling has been that Hollywood & Silicon Valley’s relationship is symbiotic, because in many cases Silicon Valley is building platforms that monetize Hollywood content.
